Cover Image: Sovereign Integral
The cover of Lyricus: The First Ten Years is striking to say the least. The cover is entitled, “Sovereign Integral.” Like all the Lyricus graphic images, it is designed to induce a state of consciousness that transcends our ordinary day-to-day state of mind. I can only speak for myself in terms of the impression it gives me—it is overwhelmingly an image of our future as a human species, not only individually, but also collectively. It speaks to both the heart and the higher, spiritually oriented mind. It is an image born from the highest aspect of our deepest self—our soul.
I also think of the God-man when I view this image. The wings emerging from the head flood my heart and mind with a majestic feeling of the triumph of the human spirit. In fact, perhaps the entire image speaks to this victory of Spirit over pure materialism.
We see the quantum heart and mind linked in pulsing, rhythmic harmony, passing the colored capsule-like light packets up and down the spiritual, biologically enhanced channel of the Sovereign Integral—that balanced state of being and expression that is independent, yet connected to the whole. This sovereign integrity is more than the sum of its parts. It is First Source materializing Itself through the individuated consciousness of our being, which was created at the beginning of God’s latest cosmological impulse.
This heart-mind-soul energy structure (running vertically from the top of the head to the heart) is a psycho-spiritual antenna, transmitting and receiving information that enhances and serves the common good of all. It is the active node on the network of collective humanity—a humanity not just of our own planet, but of all the planets of the multiverse that so lovingly supports the human species.
Sovereign Integral is our future. It is a composite of the heart-mind system fused to the overarching soul emanating above the head. The light of the soul is so powerful that it radiates into its local universe. (This is depicted in the radiance surrounding the figure.) Metaphorically, each one of our souls is the central sun of our personal solar systems, providing spiritual sustenance to the “planetary” systems that comprise our human instruments and are dependent upon that shining, solar light.
The depicted heart-mind-soul system is the engine that drives the evolutionary trajectory of humanity in the direction of First Source, as Source seeks to fulfill its Grand Experiment. Spirit or Source Intelligence is the sea of energy providing the life needed to sustain the Sovereign Integral in its long journey back to First Source.
Realize as you gaze at the Sovereign Integral that you are looking into a mirror containing your own image, but know that this reflected, spiritually lit image comes from your future and your destiny. It is our future collective triumph and glory.
