The Individuated Consciousness and Its Six Components

The purpose of this article is to examine the Architecture of the Individuated Consciousness. This has been a difficult article to write because of the subjective nature of the material and the new terminology involved. So please excuse occasional vagueness and uncertainty; these are the necessary reflections, questions, and pondering which eventually lead to clarity and new understanding. Nevertheless, a beginning must be made and so it is.
With the release of the WingMakers music CD, Hakomi Project: Chamber 3, James (creator of the material) provides details about the six major elements of what he terms the Individuated Consciousness.
These are listed below:
1. The Human Instrument.
2. The Phantom Core.
3. The Human Soul (also referred to as the Entity consciousness).
4. The Remnant Imprint.
5. The Sovereign Integral.
6. The Wholeness Navigator.

Before examining these six components in detail we will look more closely at the Individuated Consciousness itself. As figure 1 suggests, the Chamber of Self located at the center of the diagram is key to experiencing in any measure the various components of consciousness.
The Individuated Consciousness
An important key to understanding the Individuated Consciousness is that it exists as a discrete Entity in relation to what the WingMakers philosophy calls “the Entity model of existence.” Under the entry for “Entity” in the WingMakers glossary we find this simple statement:
“The Entity model of consciousness encompasses the individuated spirit sometimes referred to as the Higher Self or Soul.”
This statement indicates that the Individuated Consciousness is the result of the Entity model of consciousness and that the Entity can also be called the Higher Self or Soul. Thus, the Individuated Consciousness is the Entity and the Entity is the Soul. Figure 1 indicates the Entity as one of the six components called the “Human Soul.”
Taking this a step further we see that the Entity is the foundational component of the Individuated Consciousness. This is apparent in another excerpt from the glossary:
The Individuated Consciousness of the Entity is the fragment of First Source that is seeking to be remembered within the human instrument. It lives in an eternal state of nowness and represents the continuity of time and consciousness across all dimensions of reality. In other words, all dimensions of time are simultaneously experienced by the Entity consciousness, however, upon terra-earth, the human instrument is usually only conscious of one dimension of time, typically calibrated in linear seconds. Glossary: Evolution and the Concept of Time p. 11. [Italics mine.]
This extract reinforces the point that the Individuated Consciousness is an Entity. As we see in the following excerpt from Philosophy 3:
First Source created a blueprint of exploration to redefine itself and beget purpose to the multiverse and all existence therein. The purpose of this system is to explore the worlds of creation and evolve the ability of the Individuated Consciousness to acquire and express wisdom. Each Individuated Consciousness is a fragment of the beautiful mosaic that depicts the personage of First Source. The blueprint of exploration organizes these disparate fragments and adjoins them in their proper place to restore the wholeness of First Source – reconfigured to achieve the creation, inhabitation, and transformation of yet another universe. Philosophy 3, p.1 [Italics mine.]
God or First Source thus replicated Itself by creating indiviual entities who could “explore the worlds of creation” and “acquire and express wisdom.” Referring to figure 1 we can say that the Individuated Consciousness is an Entity even though that term does not appear in the diagram. To reiterate, what does appear in its place, is “human Soul.” The question is, why the human Soul appears in figure 1 as one of the components when it is also clear that the entire diagram represents that Soul? Just as the Entity represents a fragment of First Source, we perhaps we can say that the normal waking consciousness we experience in our daily lives is a smaller fragment still. It is possible that the human Soul is a fragment of that greater fragment—the Entity or Soul. However, there is nothing in the material itself to support this theory, so let’s set it aside for now.
Curiously, the term “Soul” is never used in the first three philosophy essays. Instead the term “Entity” is used. The word Soul does not appear until the second page of the fourth philosophy paper. Furthermore, the term Soul does not appear as a main entry in the WingMakers glossary, but is referred to within the entry for Entity as indicated above.
Taking into consideration that less than 5% of the glossary has been published as of this writing, it is
interesting that the word Soul only appears ONE time (within the definition of Entity as shown above) and the term Entity appears in the glossary fifty-two times.
Are the Entity and the Soul the same? It appears so and because we are examining the components of the Individuated Consciousness as given in figure 1 we will use the term Soul with the understanding that it is a “human” Soul. In the future further information may be published which differentiates Entity and Soul, but for now the word Soul works fine.
In order to refine our understanding further before continuing to our examination of the six components, locate the “perceptual locus” in figure 1. In the article accompanying this diagram, the perceptual locus is described as our point of idEntity. Here is an excerpt:
The anatomy of the Individuated Consciousness is composed of these six primary energy systems, and within this structure or architecture, only the human body – the tip of the iceberg – is visible to the human eye. Each of these energy systems possesses a sensory awareness that is tuned to self-recognition much as the human body’s eye-brain system is tuned to see the physical body. For example, the Wholeness Navigator has senses that are tuned to see, hear, think, and feel itself, and because of this, it identifies with itself as the central element within the Individuated Consciousness or personality. This is known as perceptual locus. Anatomy of the Individuated Consciousness, p. 3. [Italics mine.]
At the risk of getting ahead of myself, I have included this entire paragraph because the perceptual locus is key to understanding the six components of the Individuated Consciousness. For instance, if our perceptual locus is identified with the physical part of our human instrument to the exclusion of our other aspects, we are probably very materialistic and view the world in a very superficial way. In this case we might lead a very hedonistic and cynical life believing that the death of the physical body would result in the end of our existence. The excerpt above goes much further than this by using an example in which the perceptual locus is within the Wholeness Navigator. Because the Wholeness Navigator is defined as that component which desires unity and wholeness above all else this should be a good thing. Yet, this might not necessarily be the case when experienced at the level of the world in which we live as human personalities. A person too strongly identified with unity and wholeness might, for example, display unacceptable social boundaries.
Note also, that the Individuated Consciousness is also referred to as the personality. We will have more to say about this later, but for now we can say this much. The personality as referred to in the WingMakers’ material signifies the unique and distinct expression of the Individuated Consciousness. The evolution of each Soul during its experiential journey through the universe creates a unique and unparalleled expression distinctive of itself and none other. Just as no two snowflakes are alike, the personality of each individuated Soul consciousness represents its beautiful and incomparable form expression.
These simple examples point out that a balanced, non-attached attitude is the key to perceptual locus. This is why the perceptual locus illustrated in figure 1 is located at the center of the six surrounding components. The perceptual identification of the individual is better able to access the various components from the neutral zone at the symbolic center than from the exclusive perceptual locus of any one component. Because each part is tuned to self-recognition the consciousness is best placed within the “chamber of Self.”
The chamber of Self is the elemental part of you that is always liberated from outside influences. It is where you receive and transmit in the voice of your divine nature. It is where you always are when you are within the evolutionary worlds. It is the retreat, the sanctuary, and the haven of your innermost Self. It is the nexus of your god-fragment and your human instrument. Message from James, pp 1-2.
Although the short essay from which this excerpt is drawn does not mention it, meditation is the key to accessing the chamber of Self. Furthermore, sustained and regular practice of meditation is required to maintain that access, eventually leading to a permanent state.
Returning to perceptual locus we can say that whenever we identify with our physical bodies, emotions, or minds—Individuated Consciousness is the human instrument. When we identify with wholeness and unity—Individuated Consciousness is the Wholeness Navigator. When we identify with our immortality and timelessness—Individuated Consciousness is the Entity or Human Soul.
The Grand Portal, The Human Soul, and The Wholeness Navigator
Although all six components are interrelated, particular components work more closely together. We covered the primordial relationship between the terms Individuated Consciousness and the Soul in the previous sections. Just as we saw that the Individuated Consciousness is linked with the Soul, we will see in this section that the Soul is closely linked with another component, called the Wholeness Navigator.
According to their philosophy the WingMakers’ primary mission is to guide humanity to the discovery of the Grand Portal. The Grand Portal will be the scientific discovery of the human Soul and the Wholeness Navigator in the latter part of the twenty-first century. In light of the paramount importance of this event and its connection to these two components of the Individuated Consciousness let’s examine them more closely. Following are two definitions of the Grand Portal:
“The Grand Portal is the prime achievement that awaits humanity in the last quarter of the 21st century. It will be the irrefutable discovery of the human Soul by authoritative science.” WingMakers Philosophy: Chamber Four, p 2.
“The Grand Portal is the irrefutable scientific discovery of the Wholeness Navigator and how it lives, and performs its functions, within the human instrument. The Grand Portal is the most profound discovery of a humanoid species because it establishes the species as a member of the galactic community.” WingMakers Glossary
Notice that instead of referring to the Grand Portal as the discovery of the human Soul as in the first quotation, the second extract refers to the Wholeness Navigator. Furthermore, these two elements are sometimes used interchangeably (e.g. “Soul or Wholeness Navigator”). If they are merely synonyms, then why do they appear as separate components in figure 1? This question is similar to the earlier one involving the apparent difference between the human Soul and the Individuated Consciousness.
The question naturally arises as to why the Wholeness Navigator and the human Soul are each described as the Grand Portal? This apparent confusion might be clarified through the following comments by James in answer to a question concerning the Grand Portal.
When the Grand Portal is discovered, the Individuated Consciousness will be – in effect – dissected and made visible for the first time. Similar in some ways to when the human body was first dissected and its internal organs were named and their purpose identified. Q and A set 3, 12. [Italics mine.]
As we saw in the previous section, the Individuated Consciousness is the human Soul. This extract agrees with the previous one, which states that the Grand Portal will be the scientific discovery of the human Soul. Going a step further, there is the reference to “dissecting” the Individuated Consciousness much like the human body was dissected and its parts discovered and named. This indicates a process in which the components are discovered gradually rather than all at once.
Earlier, we referred to the human Soul and the Wholeness Navigator as two closely related components of consciousness. Perhaps due to their function, these two components will be scientifically discovered before the other components. As a result of their detection before the other components, they will be identified as the Grand Portal. The various components may very well be discovered in stages as the following extract reveals:
The Individuated Consciousness is the template upon which our Creator casts each of us. We are an Individuated Consciousness comprised of the essential components and functions therein whether we recognize and acknowledge this fact or not. When the irrefutable scientific discovery of the human Soul occurs, the magnificent architecture that each of us possesses will still remain largely hidden. Anatomy of the Individuated Consciousness, p. 4. [Italics mine.]
This indicates that the fact of the Soul itself (Individuated Consciousness) will be the primary discovery of the Grand Portal and that the detection of the other aspects or components of the individuated concsiousness will follow in stages. Because the definitions of the Grand Portal include that of the Wholeness Navigator we must assume that this will be the other component discovered early in the process.
Despite the best efforts, language imposes real limitations on our ability to know the true nature of such things as the Soul, as well as the relationships between the Soul, the Wholeness Navigator, and the Individuated Consciousness. This will become very clear in this section, but this difficulty does have a silver lining, for it brings into sharp focus the necessity for science to prove these matters irrefutably. And that is exactly what the Grand Portal will accomplish. For now, however, we must rely on words and whatever interpretative abilities we can apply to the written material we have been given.
As we saw with the terms Entity and the Soul, there is a similar situation with the term Wholeness Navigator. We find that it too can be identified with the Individuated Consciousness. This instance appears in the WingMakers material known as the Lyricus Discourses. Two of the four Lyricus Discourses released as of this writing are entitled Calling Forth the Wholeness Navigator and Experiencing the Wholeness Navigator. In Calling Forth the Wholeness Navigator (p. 9) the discourse refers to the “individuated spirit-essence, or Wholeness Navigator.” This short reference clearly demonstrates that the individuated spirit-essence can also be called the Wholeness Navigator.
The term “individuated spirit-essence” harks back to the glossary definition of Entity: “The Entity model of consciousness encompasses the individuated spirit sometimes referred to as the Higher Self or Soul.” From this glossary item we see that the individuated spirit is described with two different terms:
• Individuated spirit = Higher Self or Soul
• Individuated spirit = Wholeness Navigator
• Individuated spirit = Wholeness Navigator AND Soul
The third bulleted item above is an obvious conclusion, namely that the Soul and Wholeness Navigator are two aspects of Individuated Consciousness. This conclusion appears reasonable except for the following extract:
Soul, or what the WingMakers refer to as the Wholeness Navigator, is the replica of First Source (God), only compartmentalized into a singular, immortal, and wholly individualized personality.

Again we find that what appear to be two distinct elements of consciousness are also referred to as one and the same element. Unfortunately, unless this is clarified through the publication of new materials, we must simply make the best of what has been given. Furthermore, note that a new description of the Soul is also introduced in this extract—namely, the personality. This term is found in figure 1 as the human personality embedded within the human instrument, but this may only be a shadow of a greater personality. So what is this greater personality? Apparently it is the Wholeness Navigator:
“The Wholeness Navigator is the personality that endures.” Chamber Four Philosophy, p. 2. [Italics mine.]
Apparently, the “temporal” human personality transfers its experiences of physical life to a greater “enduring” personality following physical death, and it is this that is referred to as the Wholeness Navigator.
Another puzzling instance involving the term Wholeness Navigator is found in the Lyricus Discourse entitled, Experiencing the Wholeness Navigator, because the term “Wholeness Navigator” never appears in the text, but only in the title itself. Instead, the discourse focuses on experiencing the “God-fragment.” By implication we must assume that this is another name for the Wholeness Navigator.
God-fragment is defined as follows in the third published Lyricus Discourse, The Nature of Knowledge:
The transformation is of the individual personality – the God-fragment that sojourns in both the worlds of time and non-time, and is devoted to the One Plan that embraces all forms, personalities, and opinions therein. This personality is the idEntity that endures the shape shifting of forms and the ceaseless churning of time to become a conscious extension of the One Plan. Lyricus Discourse 3, The Nature of Knowledge, p. 10. [Italics mine.]
We see here that the God-fragment can also be called the personality, but this is not the ordinary personality of modern psychology. This is a personality that “endures the shape shifting of forms and the ceaseless churning of time” implying that the personality survives the death of the physical body. Following this logic, if the God-fragment is the personality that endures and the Wholeness Navigator is the personality that endures than the God-fragment and the Wholeness Navigator appears to be the same.
We now have a growing list of components. Although each component can be defined in a technical sense, each component is more accurately defined, and thus better understood—in relation to—the other components of the individuated consciousess. The Individuated Consciousness is a gestalt, constellation, or configuration which cannot be truly defined by its parts alone, but only by the relationship of those parts to one another. Thus ultimately, the Individuated Consciousness is greater than the sum of its parts. In order to describe these parts from our limited time space reality, however, they must be “separated” resulting in the following string of components which forever loops back on itself.
• Individuated spirit = Soul or Higher Self (Entity).
• Individuated spirit = Wholeness Navigator.
• Soul = Wholeness Navigator.
• Wholeness Navigator/Soul = Personality.
• Personality = God-fragment.
• God-fragment = Wholeness Navigator/Soul.
• Wholeness Navigator/Soul = Individuated spirit.
At this point we have added two more terms to our growing equation—personality and God-fragment. Note that neither of these two terms appears in the WingMakers glossary published as of this writing. However, the term personality appears elsewhere. Personalities apparently come in different varieties as shown by the following. In answer to a question about his idEntity, James’ responded:
My name within Lyricus is Mahu Nahi. This is how I am known among my students and associates. In effect, Mahu Nahi is the name of my SECU personality, while James is the name of my human personality of this time. Questions and Answers Set 2, Question 14. [Italics mine.]
So we see here that James has a human personality and a SECU1 personality.
It is becoming abundantly clear that the Soul and the Wholeness Navigator are one and the same thing in that they are aspects of the Individuated Consciousness. Yet, from figure 1 it is also clear that these two components have distinct functions and qualities which differentiate them. Whether the Grand Portal describes the scientific discovery of the human Soul or the Wholeness Navigator, the Grand Portal is ultimately describing the overarching discovery of the Individuated Consciousness, because this is the primary “object” of which the Soul and Wholeness Navigator are sub-elements.
For instance, one of the ways that Individuated Consciousness is described is in terms of wholeness and unity—the Wholeness Navigator. The Individuated Consciousness is also described as “a fragment of the Universal Spirit Consciousness of First Source”—the Soul. Having said that, the point here is that the terms Soul and Wholeness Navigator are characteristics, qualities, functions, and components of the Individuated Consciousness. Referring to the Anatomy of the Individuated Consciousness:
In total, there are six fundamental and integrated systems that comprise the Individuated Consciousness.
The key for us here is the phrase “integrated systems.” The Wholeness Navigator and the Soul are two of those systems. This factor of integration is the clue to understanding why the terms Soul and Wholeness Navigator are used alternately. Namely, they form a system of relationships within the Individuated Consciousness and one cannot be adequately described without referring to the other or, at the least, implying that the other is silently, but necessarily present along with the other. The physical anatomy provides a simple analogy in that one cannot adequately understand the central nervous system by only describing the nerves and not the brain. Consequently, in order for our time space human instruments to approach any comprehension of the anatomy of Individuated Consciousness, that consciousness must be unnaturally divided into “components.” And until those components can be examined scientifically, we are forced to use the subjective tool of language to interpret their true nature.
Finally, before moving on, there is a final point to add to the concept of personality. Earlier I offered a quotation related to the perceptual locus (page 3). That quotation ended with this curious phrase: “Individuated Consciousness or personality.” Up till now we have discussed the personality in relation to the six components of the Individuated Consciousness. This phrase, however, relates personality to the Individuated Consciousness itself. Consequently, we may conclude that the Individuated Consciousness is indelibly imprinted with the results of its interaction with the various dimensional worlds of the multiverse. This imprinting of the Individuated Consciousness results in a unique personality which endures and transcends the thousands of temporal human instrument personalities used by the Entity or Soul in its experiences in the time space worlds.
1. SECU is an acronym for Sovereign Entity of the Central Universe. Here is his explanation of a SECU: What you call humans, we call Sovereign Entities of the Central Universe (SECU – pronounced SeeQue). SECUs are the alpha and omega. They are not time-bound nor restrained by the adornments of bodies. They are the primal form finished and honed to the perfection of their creator, and in this, we are all the same. Questions and Answers Set 2, Question 12.
It is reasonable to conclude that the human personality does not endure, but the SECU personality does endure.
The Soul, Wholeness Navigator, and Human Instrument.
From an examination of the written materals of the WingMakers’ philosophy to date, the Wholeness Navigator is essentially that inner part of the human instrument which continually guides it toward unity and wholeness despite the separative tendencies of the human instrument in the world of time and space. The Wholeness Navigator also relates to the other five components of the Individuated Consciousness in such a way that we might say the Wholeness Navigator is literally the central guidance system of the entire Entity model of existence.
Turning to the WingMakers glossary we note the last sentence describing the Wholeness Navigator:
The Wholeness Navigator pulls the human instrument into alignment with the Entity consciousness where it can view its role as an extension of the Entity consciousness into terra-earth, and the Entity consciousness as an extension of the human instrument into Source Reality. WingMakers glossary, the Wholeness Navigator.

This short extract describes the Wholeness Navigator’s role as a device for bringing the Entity consciousness or Soul into alignment with the human instrument. In order to gain a better grasp of this extract we must return to the concept of the perceptual locus of the Individuated Consciousness and chamber of Self. Recall that this state of being is one of non-identification with any particular component of the Individuated Consciousness. It is an expansive, inclusive, state of awareness mediated by the Wholeness Navigator—the agent of bridging. The Wholeness Navigator is only truly functional when it is creating relationship between two or more components.
This is a good place to reiterate an earlier extract about the Individuated Consciousness:
Each of these energy systems possesses a sensory awareness that is tuned to self-recognition much as the human body’s eye-brain system is tuned to see the physical body. For example, the Wholeness Navigator has senses that are tuned to see, hear, think, and feel itself, and because of this, it identifies with itself as the central element within the Individuated Consciousness or personality. This is known as perceptual locus. Anatomy of the Individuated Consciousness, p. 3. [Italics mine.]
When the perceptual locus of the Entity is shifted by means of the all-inclusive view of the Navigator the perceptual locus of the Entity consciousness is transformed. The Entity now views itself as an extension into terra-earth as the human instrument. Simultaneously, the perceptual locus of the transformed Entity consciousness views this human instrument as extending into Source Reality.
The important point to remember here that the “Entity” is your sense of self as a conscious presence within the human instrument. Through the influence of the Wholeness Navigator you become consciously aware that you are not simply an isolated individual encased in a physical body, with emotions and thoughts (human instrument), but are an extension of a greater Self or Entity which exists outside of the space time dimension. This expanded vision allows for the reverse perception of one’s self as extending beyond the space time world of the human instrument to the non space and non time world of the Entity, which is Source Reality, the dimension of First Source.
Consequently, the Entity or Soul gathers unique experience while “fragmented” from the main body of the Individuated Consciousness. This unique experience imprints the Soul in a way that is not duplicated by any other Soul and is thus termed a “personality.” Nevertheless, the Soul telescopes or extends itself into the worlds of time and space in the form of the human instrument while forever remaining the Soul. Thus, when the Individuated Consciousness is in its exploratory phase of activity it is a singular unit described as the Soul extended into the multiverse utilizing a human instrument containing a guidance system, called the Wholeness Navigator. This navigational aid straddles the worlds of non-time and non-space as well as the worlds of time and space. The Wholeness Navigator thus plays the pivotal role of bridging across worlds. As shown in figure 2, “The Wholeness Navigator aligns the human Soul and human instrument.” The result of this alignment is the appearance of the Sovereign Integral state of consciousness within the human instrument. Such individuals are referred to as Sovereign Integrals. (See Philosophy 3.)
The Sovereign Integral, Wholeness Navigator, and Remnant Imprint.
The second relationship of the Wholeness Navigator is between the Sovereign Integral and the Remnant Imprint. We have not described these latter two components, so let’s do that now. The Sovereign Integral is first defined in the glossary as “a state of consciousness in which the Soul and all its forms of expression and perception are integrated into a conscious wholeness.” The Sovereign Integral state of consciousness is the goal for the Soul and its human instrument. This is described as an alignment and a harmonization with Source Intelligence (the factor of universal enlightenment representing the will of First Source).
As we see in figure 3, the Wholeness Navigator is the primary factor in the creation of alignment. It is this alignment process which results in the arising of the Sovereign Integral state of consciousness within the human instrument. The appearance of individuals at this level of development are referred to as Sovereign Integrals (see Philosophy 3).
The Sovereign Integral consciousness is developed through an ongoing process of accumulating knowledge and experience through the Entity’s contact with the space time worlds via the human instrument.
All expressions and experiences of the human instrument, collectively, are deposited within the Sovereign Integral state of consciousness, and it is precisely this that imprints upon the human instrument of the individual. Anatomy of the Individated Consciousness, p. 1.
These collective experiences and expressions of the human instrument are apparently stored within the Sovereign Integral through all the sojourns of the Soul in the time space worlds. The evolution and transformation of the Soul through these many lifetimes in human instruments is eventually expressed in the time space dimensions by an alignment process which fuses the consciousness of the human instrument with the consciousness of the Sovereign Integral. This results in the appearance in human form of Sovereign Entities who express a consciousness that reflects the tremendous knowledge and wisdom of the Sovereign Integral. Prior to this stage the vast storehouse of the Sovereign Integral has not been accessible to the Entity consciousness while incarnated in a human instrument.
We might ask if it is simply the sense of unity and wholeness provided by the Wholeness Navigator which creates the alignment between the Soul, the Sovereign Interal and the human instrument, or whether there is another factor at work in this process? There is, and it is called the Remnant Imprint.
The Remnant Imprint is described in the essay accompanying the music of Hakomi Chamber 3.
Within the human instrument, and acting as its animator of creative goodness, is the Remnant Imprint of the Sovereign Integral. The Remnant Imprint is the muse or inspirational formation of the human instrument insofar as the individual is concerned. It is the voice of deep character that arouses the most potent and noble instincts and creative stirrings of the human being: creating acts of goodness that touch the human Soul in oneself and others. Anatomy of the Individated Consciousness, p. 1.
At its most accessible level we might describe the Remnant Imprint as the spiritual component of the human being. We might also term it heart. Acts of goodness are spontaneous arisings and outpourings of the heart which transcend religion and appear to be built into the very fabric of every human being, even though deeply buried in many and apparently extinct in some. It is spirituality in the most basic and fundamental form. This most important component of Individuated Consciousness is described as a remnant:
Within every human instrument is the imprint of the Sovereign Integral, and it is referred to as a ‘remnant’ only because it exists in the dimension of time and space. In reality it is the cast of energy bestowed by the Sovereign Integral to the human instrument. Anatomy of the Individated Consciousness, p. 2.
The Sovereign Integral is a repository of all the expressions and experiences of the human instrument. It can be likened to a vast library of consciousness containing the records of the Soul’s experiences and creations in the time space universe. Eventually, the human instrument will be capable of expressing the consciousness of the Sovereign Integral, but until that happens in the worlds of time and space, the human instrument is endowed with a portion of that higher consciousness—the human instrument is imprinted with a remnant of the Sovereign Integral. This Remnant Imprint inspires the individual to creative activities in all phases of life, no matter how large or small.
The energy of the Remnant Imprint is generated from the Sovereign Integral consciousness, filtered through the Wholeness Navigator and imprinted upon the mind, emotions, and physical body. Anatomy of the Individated Consciousness, p. 2.
Once again, we see that the Wholeness Navigator plays a crucial role as the bridge between two compoThe Individuated Consciousness and Its Six Components by John Berges 11 nents of the Individuated Consciousness. Figure 4 illustrates this connection. We can now see a pattern of relationships between these six components. The Wholeness Navigator is central to these relationships. It now becomes clearer that the discovery of the Wholeness Navigator is the key that will unlock the door for understanding the anatomy of the Individuated Consciousness. The Grand Portal marks the beginning of a new chapter in the exploration of the inner universe of consciousness.
The Soul, Wholeness Navigator, and Phantom Core
The third relationship established by the Wholeness Navigator is between the Soul and the Phantom Core. Here is the description of the Phantom Core:
Teacher: The Phantom Core is the super consciousness of the human instrument. It is separate from the Soul, and is considered the Soul’s emissary to the natural world in which the human instrument must interact. It is through this awareness that Soul experiences the natural world of limitation and separation, drawing in the experiences that help it to build appreciation for the Grand Multiverse that is the gar ment of First Source. Anatomy of the Individuated Consciousness, p. 2.
The Phantom Core thus acts as a communications link between the human instrument and the Soul.
There is much more said about the Phantom Core in the following Lyricus Discourse:
Teacher: What weaves together the physical body with the non-physical bodies is what we refer to as the Phantom Core. The Phantom Core is not composed of anything material. It is like a shadow of Soul consciousness that can move between the realms of the human instrument.
Student: So it can operate equally well within the mind and body?
Teacher: The Phantom Core is the consciousness that moves between the body, emotions, mind, and genetic mind at speeds greater than light. Yet it is a point of awareness that distributes the experi ences of the human instrument to the Soul.
Remember that the Phantom Core is the shadow of the Soul and operates seamlessly between the folds of the human instrument. It is the fi rst perceiver and transmitter of the experience that consumes the human instrument of a specifi c individuality. It is the continuity of the undivided process within the material realms, while the Soul is the continuity of the undivided process within the non-physical realms.
Student: And what about the Wholeness Navigator?
Teacher: It is the bridge of continuity between these two worlds. The Wholeness Navigator is the interlock between the worlds of time and the worlds of non-time. It is the fusion of the Soul and the Phantom Core, integrating this vast experiential storehouse of data, and making it coherent as a force of transformation. Human Soul Phantom Core Wholeness Navigator This information concerning the formation of the Wholeness Navigator is another key to understanding the Architecture of the Individuated Consciousness (fi gure 1). This indicates once again the fundamental inter relationship between all the components. It appears that none of them can exist separate from the others. In fact, it seems that the entire anatomy of the Individuated Consciousness expresses the primal conditions imposed by the parameters of the Entity model of existence. In other words, the six components exist as an inherent template built upon the archetypal Entity model.
Summarizing we fi nd that:
1. The Phantom Core exists as an agent of the human Soul.
2. The Wholeness Navigator exists due to the fusion of the human Soul with the Phantom Core.
3. The Remnant Imprint exists as an aspect of the Sovereign Integral.
4. The human instrument exists as an extension of the human Soul.
These six elements are interlocked not only through their connections to one another, but also through their functions within the entire anatomy of the Individuated Consciousness.
The Human Instrument or Soul Carrier
A very important concept to remember in regard to the human instrument is that it is more than a physical body. It is also composed of an emotional and mental component in terms of the individual. In addtion, in terms of the collective, the human instrument also interacts with the genetic mind of the human species of terra-earth.
Hence, when the physical body dies, the human instrument and the consciousness associated with it survives in a dimension of existence beyond the range of the five senses of the physical component of the human instrument. This is important in regard to much of what we have examined here, because it means that the Individuated Consciousness—with its six components—exists without a physical body.
The Remnant Imprint and the Phantom Core are said to reside within the human instrument, which does not necessarily have to include a physical component. Consequently, prior to and following the existence of the physical component of the human instrument the six components of the Individuated Consciousness are intact and presumably functioning at a level of existence beyond the range of our physical world.
Thus, theoretically, prior to the very first physical incarnation of the Soul, in which it adds the final physical component to its human instrument, the essential six components of the Individuated Consciousness are present and functioning in a way we do not yet understand. Following is an example of this idea:
Dr. Neruda:
“It depends again on your definition of Soul. The formless consciousness is that which observes and experiences through forms or structures, not just physical embodiments. For example, consciousness can be contained inside a structure or form, but not be physically based. The mind is such a structure, while it’s not physical, consciousness – when physically embodied – peers through a mind structure like someone looking through a window. Soul is often confused with the mind and vice versa.
“The formless consciousness is that particle of God that is decelerated from the frequency of the God state into individuality where it can become autonomous and exercise freewill.”
Neruda Interview 3, 10.
From this we see that the discovery of the human Soul or Wholeness Navgator (Grand Portal) is actually a discovery of the dimensions lying beyond the physical component of the human instrument. The question of what lies beyond our feelings, emotions, and thoughts goes to the heart of this entire matter. It is consciounsess that exists prior to all of these, yet they all exist within a dimensional framework or context of some kind. And it is the investigation into these factors which will eventually lead to the final discovery of the Individuated Consciousness of which the human Soul, the Phantom Core, the sovereign integral, the Remnant Imprint, and the human instrument are components.
Further Questions and Conclusions
Although many questions are raised concerning the Individuated Consciousness, several questions stand out:
1. Why are the Soul and Wholeness Navigator descibed as the same sometimes and different at others?
2. How does the human instrument affect the other five components in terms of the death process?
3. The Phantom Core is described as that which weaves together the physical and non-physical bodies of the human instrument. Does the Phantom Core dissipate when the physical body dies or does it continue to hold together the emotional and mental aspects of the human instrument?
4. The Wholeness Navigator is the bridge between the Soul and the Phantom Core. If the Phantom Core dissipates at the death of the physical body, does that mean that the Wholeness Navigator also dissipates?
5. The Remnant Imprint is associated with the human instrument as an agent of the sovereign integral. What happens to the Remnant Imprint when the physical body of the human instrument dies?
6. Is there a phase in the life of the Individuated Consciousness when it does not possess a human instrument. In other words, if the physical body can die, can the emotional and mental “bodies” or energy fields of the human instrument also die or dissipate?
7. If the human instrument can completely dissipate as part of the overall incarnation cycle of the Soul, does that mean that there is a phase within that cycle in which there is only the Soul and the sovereign integral?
If such is the case then we may draw our own conclusion which is based on the definition of the Sovereign Integral.
The Soeveign Integral is a state of consciousness whereby the Entity and all of its various forms of expression and perception are integrated as a conscious wholeness. The Sovereign Integral is the core idEntity of the individual. Anatomy of the Individuated Consciousness, p. 3.
It is a state of consciousness resulting from “the expressions and experiences of the human instrument, collectively” and which “are deposited within the Sovereign Integral state of consciousness.” Anatomy of the Individuated Consciousness, p. 1.
From these extracts it seems reasonable to conclude that whether the human instrument survives in its entirety or not is beside the point. The most important point is that all the experiences and knowledge attained by the Soul’s sojourn in the time space worlds within the human instrument are retained within the Sovereign Integral state of consciousness of the Soul.
It thus seems fair to conclude that IF the components of the human instrument do completely dissipate within the Soul’s cycle of activity, then it and the Sovereign Integral are the only two permanent components of the Individuated Consciousness relative to its overall architecture.
This initial examination of the components of the Individuated Consciousness answers some questions, creates new ones, and leaves much open for further study. It is my hope that this modest beginning will shed some light on the topic and contribute to our understanding of the Individuated Consciousness.
