Every human is able, in varying degrees, to peer beneath the surface reality of life and perceive and express their personal interpretations of the Universe of Wholeness. They require only the time and intention to develop their own interpretations. And this is precisely what all the great spiritual leaders have taught. Life’s deeper meaning is not an absolute to be experienced by the chosen few, but an evolving, dynamic intelligence that wears as many faces as there are life forms. No life form or species has the exclusive portal into the Universe of Wholeness in which First Source expresses ITSELF in all ITS majesty. The portal is shared with all because First Source is within all things.
Chamber Two Philosophy: "The Shifting Models of Existence"
"Why am I here?" Maia looked to the sky with an expression of bewilderment. "Why did I agree to go on this... this journey into an uncharted forest with a total stranger? I've put my life at risk in many different ways, and I've now become an aspect of your own story—a story I hadn't even heard of until three days ago. How can my life take such a turn... so suddenly?"
"There is no suddenness except in linear time. Your entire life has led you here, and it only seems sudden to your mind, but in the deepest reaches of your totality, you know why you are drawn in to this, and, more important, you know how it will evolve."
"How's that possible," Maia exclaimed, "unless everything is predestined?"
"Think about it for a moment," the Oracle began, "how could an Oracle exist unless everything was knowable beyond the present time horizon? How could I possibly know the future unless time's impression was already cast, and everything of your world that was to come into existence, was already in existence?"
"When I speak to you, who hears me?" Maia asked, narrowing her eyes. "I am a totality like you. In my totality I am connected to a larger totality, which is connected to a still larger totality, all the way to what you would call the Creator."
The Oracle pointed to a nest in a nearby tree. "I am like a nest within a tree, that has become the tree, and the tree is a nest within the forest, and it has thus become the forest. And the forest is a nest within the earth, and it has become the earth. And the earth is a nest within the universe, and it has become the universe. And the universe is a nest within the Creator, and it has become the Creator."
Maia folded her arms. "So when I speak with you, I... I'm speaking to the Creator?"
"Yes," the Oracle nodded.
Maia looked into the Oracle's eyes, struggling to see the truth or the lie in what she had just heard. She had always been taught to distrust anyone, or anything, that claimed to be God. No one could make such a claim without first being a liar, or a crazy person. "And what am I?" Maia asked.
"You are a nest," came the quick reply. "But you are awakening to the tree, and soon, the forest."
"And what of the bird who built the nest?" Maia asked.
"The bird is the mind or intellect. It possesses the ego. It flies about collecting food and socializing, barely noticing the forest in which it lives. But it returns to its nest, and there, it contemplates. It seeks what is sustainable in terms of meaning and joy. It is the nest that is the point of stillness; the home to one's totality."
